Elmbridge Housing Trust is responsible for keeping your home in good repair and working order. This includes items such as the exterior structure of the building, the installation for the supply of water, gas and electricity, bathroom and toilet fittings, kitchen units, room heating systems installed by us (or the Council before us) and drainage systems. We operate an Emergency Standby Service for emergency housing repairs, including blocked drains; this service should only be used where the safety and security of the property or the occupants are threatened.
The repairs partnering arrangement with Mears commenced on the 1st of April
2003.
Certain specific items are the responsibility of the resident and these are stated in the appropriate Tenants or Leaseholder Handbook.
