One of the largest and newest Housing Associations in Surrey, Elmbridge Housing Trust was formed in 1999 to take over the ownership and management of the Council's housing and develop more affordable homes. The transfer was completed on 27th March 2000 after extensive consultation in which the Trust met with 98% of tenants. 73% of tenants voted in the ballot with two thirds voting in favour

non-profit making company, the Trust employs around 100 staff with the majority
based at our Head Office in Walton on Thames. Our commitment to staff and
progressive approach enabled us to gain Investor in People status after only 18
months of operation, which was successfully renewed in 2005.
